Librarians play an integral role in directing patrons with legal issues to reliable resources and local agencies that may be of assistance. The LSBA has partnered with the Louisiana Library Association and other partners to create the Legal Education & Assistance Program (LEAP), which will provide libraries with free "Libguides" and specialized staff training to better enable your branch to assist with questions about legal issues. "Lawyers in Libraries" is a supplemental component of this program which provides expanded information and access to attorneys.
