    During this program, children are able to spend time sharing their favorite books with gentle and patient therapy dogs. Since dogs are non judgmental listeners, children are able to read out loud without fear of ridicule, which increases their confidence and skill in the classroom.

    Join us on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Cedar Grove/ Line Ave. Branch Library for Parking Lot Picassos. During this chalk art program, children and families can draw in chalk on our sidewalks! All of our branches open on Saturday mornings will have the program. This program will be for children from 4-10 years of age and their families. Parents will need to stay with their young children. Children can work individually or in groups to draw creations that promote individual expression and teamwork.
