Children who finish the program will receive a certificate and a bag with a book, sticker, and temporary tattoo.
Our Children’s Summer Reading Program will kick off with a series of Rockin’ Around the Decades programs at various branches. These musical skits will get children excited to read with us this summer. Enjoy the show at one of the following days and times.

Adults can also sign up for Summer Reading, and they will receive a goody bag with a bookmark, book log and promotional items. Adults can read and log books this summer to earn book bucks, which can be used to cover library fines. If you read two books, you will receive one book buck. Adults will receive an additional book buck for each book they finish after the first two. However, they may only receive a maximum of five book bucks.
We will also have fun programs for adults this summer, including I Like Bread & Butter Biscuit Making, Local Music Trivia, and Autobiography of a Musician Book Talks on Bruce Springsteen, Questlove, and Patti Smith. We will have the schedule up soon!
