Academic Search Complete is the world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 7,100 full-text periodicals, including more than 6,100 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 11,200 journals and a total of more than 11,700 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,300 journals.

History Makers
The HistoryMakers is a digital archive that contains video oral interviews with prominent African Americans about their lives and accomplishments. The site provides an easy-to-use scholarly and educational resource for exploring African American history and culture. It is unique among collections of African American heritage because of its large and varied scope, with interviewees from across the United States, from a variety of fields, and with memories and recollected histories referencing people and events stretching from the 1700s to the present.

Homework Louisiana
Homework Louisiana provides free online tutoring, whether you are in kindergarten or college. Get help with math, science, writing, and more. Live tutors are available 7 days a week from 2 p.m. to midnight and can help students of all ages. There is also help available for adults through the Adult Education and Career Center on Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight.
