Tarah Thomas joined the staff of the Genealogy Department of Shreve Memorial Library in early June. Tarah earned a Bachelor’s degree in history at LSU Shreveport and a Master’s degree in history from Louisiana Tech. Her master’s thesis concerned Confederate military recruitment propaganda in north Louisiana. Tarah also received a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Valdosta State University in Georgia. Tarah will be working Tuesday through Friday evenings.
