Shreve Memorial Library and AARP Louisiana team up to present a series of virtual workshops designed to educate seniors on library resources. The workshops will premiere via webinar on Wednesdays in May at 2 p.m. Workshops will teach participants how to research their ancestry and use digital and virtual library services. Workshops are free and open to all regardless of AARP membership status, but registration is required.
On Wednesday, May 12, Shreve Memorial Library staff will present a webinar covering Genealogy research teaching attendees how to research their ancestry. The Genealogy workshop will demonstrate and answer questions, making your genealogy search experience seamless. Participants will learn how to research their lineage more efficiently using Ancestry.com and other databases.
