Children's Book Week: StoryTime the Month of May 2022 + Craft

Join us at the Belcher Library during the month of May (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 3:30pm) to hear a story book by one of the Children's Book Festival's featured authors, Jennifer L. Holm. You will hear either 'The Evil Princess vs. The Brave Knight' or The Evil Princess vs. The Brave Knight Take Turns'. You will also make a crown to wear home.

Fiction Book Club

Join us monthly for the Fiction Book Club, facilitated by Laura Flett. This month they will be reading The Mountains Sing by Phan Que Mai Nguyen.

Preschool Story Time: Trees

Preschool Story Time is geared for children 3-5 years old. Age-appropriate book selections are enhanced by music, movement, crafts, and other activities. This week we'll read fun stories about trees in honor of Plant a Tree Day !!

RPG: Pathfinder

Broadmoor Pathfinder is looking for a few good adventurers! Pathfinder is a pen, paper, and dice roleplaying game where players take on the roles of heroes they create in a fantasy setting. In our first session we’ll be teaching beginners how to play and creating characters for our new adventure, The Serpent’s Skull, a tale of pirates, treasure, and treachery! Join us! Adulting for Teens: Healthy Eating on a Budget!

Learning how to eat healthy in a affordable way is an important skill to foster. This program will teach teens ages 11-17 how to grocery shop effectively and prepare nutritional and healthy meals at home that fit within their budget.

Mother Goose Storytime: Flower Garden

Flowers are everywhere! Let's read and sing about planting gardens and growing flowers. We will then make a flower garden craft, play with a sticky wall, and no-mess smush paint. This program is for families with children ages 0-3. Caretakers will be encouraged to participate. Children will be exposed to songs, books and a variety of experiences to encourage early literacy. We aim to provide an environment of fun and educational activities.

Teen Time: Wednesday Words Of Wisdom

Teens are invited to hear guests speakers present on different topics. Ages 12-18.

Youth and Teen Tech I is the introductory class for patrons. They will be introduced to software and hardware of the computer. Registration required.
