Let’s celebrate Children’s Book Week with a Teddy Bear Picnic! Bring your favorite stuffed animal! We will read The Little Blue Bridge by Brenda Maier with our stuffed animals, build a bridge and create a memory book! Author Brenda Maier will make an appearance at the Shreve Memorial Library’s Children’s Book Festival Saturday, May 7 at LSU Shreveport!
Pajama time is an evening program for families with children of all ages. Children are invited to come in their pajamas and bring stuff animals. We provide resources to satisfy their curiosity, explore topics of personal interest and encourage children to continue to learn throughout their lives.
Teens will be given the opportunity to create and add a little sparkle to their own coupons cards for mom! Ages: (12 -18)
