Join us at the Belcher Library during the month of May (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 3:30pm) to hear a story book by one of the Children's Book Festival's featured authors, Jennifer L. Holm. You will hear either 'The Evil Princess vs. The Brave Knight' or The Evil Princess vs. The Brave Knight Take Turns'. You will also make a crown to wear home.

Preschool Story Time is geared for children 3-5 years old. Age-appropriate book selections are enhanced by music, movement, crafts, and other activities. This week we'll be celebrating Children's Book Week and the Children's Book Festival by reading stories written by two of the featured authors !

Learn to line dance in this easy, beginner-level class. No partner necessary! Please wear comfortable clothing you can move & groove in. This class is designed with adults in mind, but all ages are welcome to join the fun.
It’s Children’s Book Week! Come explore great children’s books with us at this special storytime featuring the works of Brenda Maier. We will read, sing, play and make crafts in this storytime intended for children ages 2 – 5. Like the books we are reading? You will have the opportunity to meet her during the Shreve Memorial Library Children’s Book Festival on Saturday, May 7.
Ages 6-17 are invited to invade the library for Game Knights! Join us and play one of our many board games, or Xbox 360 with various games. Whether your family prefer board, video, or card games games, will have something everyone will enjoy!
The 7 Pillars of Adulting
We are Wild About Books! Let's celebrate Children's Book Week with some of our favorite animal books. We'll pretend to go to the zoo and learn a few yoga animal poses. Then caregivers will help toddlers make a stand-up lion &/or a paper giraffe.
This program is for families with children ages 0-3. Caretakers will be encouraged to participate. Children will be exposed to songs, books and a variety of experiences to encourage early literacy. We aim to provide an environment of fun and educational activities.
Patrons will create floral bouquet with craft paper for Mother's Day. Registration required.
Teens are invited to hear guests speakers present on different topics. Ages 12-18.
What form of transportation is exercise, good for the environment, and super fun? Bicycling of course! Babies and toddlers, age 0-5 years, and their caregivers, will discover the joys and benefits of bike riding in an interactive early literacy storytime.
Kids come make a Egg Carton Pirate Ship. Have fun and check out a book or a movie.
