We will be reading books by Brian Lies, who will be a guest at the Children's Book Festival this month.
Little Bat Up All Day and Rough Patch.
This story time is designed especially for babies (newborn to 18 months) and their caregivers featuring songs, rhymes, bounces, and stories. Older siblings are welcome to join and are encouraged to bring their own “baby” stuffed animal. *Children under 10 must have a responsible person present in programs*
Children in grades 1-5 are invited to join us and make their own marble maze and learn about geometrical concepts!
Children ages 3-5 will come and celebrate Children's Book Week with stories, and
lots of music & movement. Preschoolers will also explore different ways crayons can be used with a special Slimed STEAM activity.
Two Lupus Advocates will raise awareness about Lupus and do a book signing. Delebra Hudson and Monica Ellis are both Lupus Advocates. They have lived with Lupus for years and have answers and will take questions about the disease following the talk. Monica Ellis wrote, "I Sleep in My Jeep." In this book she tell of her amazing journey with Lupus.
In honor of Children’s Book Week, children are invited to join us for a special storytime highlighting some famous children authors such as Laura Numeroff, Mo Willems, and Eric Carle! This program is for families with children 2-5.
Teens are invited to create and learn through experimentation under the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, and math) umbrella.
We're having a children’s book read in to celebrate Children’s Book Week. Children, pick a favorite book to sit down and read with us.
Children will bring their stuffed animal, enjoy a snack, craft, and a story time, then leave their stuffed animal in the library for a night of mischief.
Adults will be watching the inspirational movie, Tyson's Run. An unathletic boy with autism strives to become an unlikely marathon champion.
Come join us for coffee and visit with friends and neighbours.
