Getting a library card at Shreve Memorial Library is as easy as 1, 2, 3...

)Visit our online catalog, and fill out the online registration form.
) Visit your local branch with a photo ID to receive your brand new library card.
) Start borrowing books, audiobooks, DVDs, music and access our online services! Ask our friendly library staff to find out what's new.

Anyone who lives, works, goes to school, or owns land in Caddo Parish may register for a library card. Active military personnel (including spouses and children) may also register.

Remove Your Library Account

Patrons may visit any library branch to request the deletion of their account. Any outstanding transactions, such as checkouts, holds, bills, etc., must be cleared before the account can be deleted. Patrons must show a photo ID to have an account removed.
If a patron wants to remove a library account of a family member who is deceased, they will need to show an obituary or other proof before the account will be cleared and deleted.
